What an improvement! The selection of fine ales and whiskys are superb. We had a meal here which I can say was great value for money and for pub food this was high class. The chef has another restuarant called The Grain Store. If you havent been go and check it out, the staff are very friendly and helpfull, the nice guy behind the bar helped me choose a nice whisky.

The bar has recently changed ownership, has been renovated and renamed "The Stockbridge Tap". Unusually, this has proved to be an improvement, as it is now a Free House, and the focus remains on real ale. There are some interesting bottled beers, too. Alas, the pies are no more.
